“Since I knew that these were paintings that were going to be in office spaces, I wanted to create paintings that were showing the environment that the workers were in. Seeing the corporations like heaven; meaning you have all these different steps of deities…The CEO is seated in the thrown like a Christ figure would be, and the hand is shaped in a pose that the Christ figure makes which is a blessing pose, of course we stuck a cigar in there, which has completely defiled that tradition. And to see the CEO as not just a guy who gets paid the big salary, but as a deity.”
